I research in the economics of education, health economics, risky behaviours, personnel economics, and the importance of physical and qualitative spaces in determining economic outcomes. I teach micro principles, labour, and industrial organization at the undergraduate level, and contract theory, labour, and advanced microeconometrics at the graduate level. I am also on the teaching faculties of the Clark Honors College and the Oregon Executive MBA program.
